Charlie And The Bandana Gang
A fast-paced children's detective story involving blackmail, stolen goods and Charly the engaging amateur detective.
As it happens, there's a lot Charly would like to tell her self-absorbed parents, for instance the fact that Bug, the boy in the top class, is not only tyrannizing the entire school with his bandana-gang, but is also suspected of committing minor burglaries. Or that a girl from Bug's gang stole five euros from her in broad daylight - in the presence of Aunt Lily! But the worst thing of all is that her beloved Aunt Lily has fallen in love with Frank the antique dealer of all people! - and he's been behaving extremely suspiciously and Charly keeps finding him in the company of Bug.
She decides she must get to the bottom of all this. She has to find out what the connection is between Bug and Frank, because unless Charly is very much mistaken, she'll soon be able to convict Aunt Lily's new boyfriend of handling stolen goods.
