Don't Tell Dad

"We'll be able to do it with our hands tied behind our backs!" It's just as well that Ines isn't easily daunted, because if it weren't for her little sister, Christine would be feeling pretty queasy. Her friend Marleen has begged her to take over the running of her little guesthouse on the North Sea island of Norderney for a few days - a job Christine doesn't know the first thing about.

In the guesthouse, the sisters very quickly find themselves out of their depth, despite all the well-meaning support. Their mother Charlotte has to step in to make the meals, which isn't really a great help - she may be a good mother, but that doesn't necessarily make her a good cook. And when their Dad also shows up as self-appointed knight in shining armour, the chaos is complete. Christine and Ines get increasingly caught up in a web of fibs and fabrications: Marleen, who brought on this whole mess, is currently in custody with her new lover in Dubai, and of course no-one is supposed to find out about this...
