These are facts we need at our fingertips, according to the artist Rotraut Susanne Berner, who also graphically demonstrates that houses should have red tiled roofs, cosy armchairs have simply got to be green, and that when two people argue the whole world explodes furiously into black and red. Everything! Todo! Alles! is a children's encyclopaedia presented in the form of 150 playing cards, each decorated with a drawing, painting or collage representing an everyday term. Each image instantaneously brings its subject vividly to life, and if you flip over the card, you'll find it translated into six languages - English, French, German, Spanish, Turkish and Chinese - along with a proverb or idiomatic usage.
