In the Name of the Cross
In the wake of the tragic suicide of seminarian Matthias Sass, a group of teenagers finds Heimeran, a Catholic priest, hanged under a bridge. For Matthias, who grew up without a father, Heimeran played a paternal role. Or was there more to it than that? There is substantial evidence which seems to suggest there was... Matthias' mother asks private detective Anton Schwarz to investigate. His findings lead the Munich-based ex-cop to the 'House of Mercy', a Catholic institution for juvenile delinquents in Steinberg Monastery.
