Nights On the Edge of the Inner City
A book on sex and love and what we take for it
In the mid-eighties Eva is studying art history in West Berlin. The city is on the brink of a major upheaval, but no one is aware of it as yet. The scene still appears intact: a bohemian world where there is limitless time to reinvent oneself and life itself. Searching for love, security and a few other things, Eva moves from one young man to another and, eventually, ends up on her own. Then the situation comes to a head: Eva is consumed by a passion so destructive that the relationship threatens to change her life for ever…
No holds-barred and forthright, gripping, sad and poetic
