November Ashes
Artfully draped over a tombstone, the body of a young man is discovered in a graveyard on Lake Constance. At the same time, terrible news awaits Marie, an artist: Erik, the husband of her best friend Paula, has died while skydiving. Marie refuses to believe it was suicide, so she decides to investigate. She hooks up with Erik's parachute-jumping crowd - without letting on who she is.
Superintendent Andreas Sommerkorn, who is in charge of the case of the murdered young man in the graveyard, happens to be Paula's brother - and Marie is secretly in love with him.
But the two mysterious deaths are not just closely intertwined on a private level. The same person is responsible for both of them…
