On the Trail of the Mammoth

It is about 20,000 years ago, in the Ice Age: now Lynx-Ear is ten years' old, he is no longer one of the children. Soon he will be admitted into the group of hunters. But Lynx-Ear is already dreading the initiation ceremony because he hasn't killed a single thing so far, his spear always misses the mark. But his tribe  has other worries at the moment. They are running out of food  and a group of hunters has to search for game further afield. Then Shaman Fire-Eyes has a premonition: the hunters are in mortal danger. But Lynx-Ear will be their saviour ...
