Pauline's Solo
Pauline is dreaming. Of a great career as a singer and about Emanuel, the guitarist in the school band. If she's honest with herself, she's not had much success in either case. Pauline only sings in the shower, and she only ever sees Emanuel when his band is giving a concert. So far, so hopeless .
It's not all doom and gloom though, as there's Cora: she's the drummer in Emanuel's band and she's in Pauline's class. And then one day SHE actually asks Pauline if she would like to audition for the band. From that moment on Pauline does nothing but practise. Finally the big day comes. Pauline knocks at the door of the rehearsal room, Emanuel opens it - and all Pauline manages to do is make a squeaky noise
