The Curse of the Eternal Guardians

Forced to hide in a creepy cemetery, Richard finds himself among graves guarded by stone angels. Here he meets Artur, a strange boy who promptly saves his life after one of the angels awakens when Richard gets too close to it. Artur tells Richard that the angels are harpies, dangerous creatures who are eternal guardians of the tombs of the 'Field of Sleepers'. The graveyard is in fact a magical prison, and Artur's father, the rightful ruler over all magical beings, is one of the captives. He was banished by his sister Isobell who wants to acquire power over his realm's inhabitants and bring ruin on the world.
