A man for after hours...

Niels Felitsch, in his early forties, tall, slim, fit, an intellectual, is culture editor on a daily paper. When he is made redundant and his commissions as a freelance journalist start to dwindle to nothing, he signs up with an escort agency. Very soon he begins to ask himself two questions: what sort of woman hires a man to accompany her to the theatre, opera or on holiday? And: how far do I want or am I willing to go to, to perform irrespective of the woman concerned? The experiences he has in his new job are as diverse as the women who hire him. And then one day he meets a client who affects him in a way he hadn't expected…
