The Five Aces - Most Valuable Player

You would hardly call this bunch a Dream Team when they take to the court. It's true that Lennart is a great player, but they'll need more than just his prodigious talent if they are going to win basketball games. To make matters worse, the deciding contest against their archrivals from Grünheim is coming up; Lennart, Jabali, Michael and the assorted school kids who make up the team had better get their act together, and quick. Things start to look up when Jamie, the talented captain of a street basketball team, joins their ranks.  But their hopes seem to be dashed when they are hit by one disaster after another: Lennart sprains his ankle, Jabali has to baby-sit his little brother, Michael is in danger of being removed from the game before it's even begun - and as if all that wasn't enough to scupper their chances of victory, Jamie seems to have vanished into thin air… 

A genius with any ball, a supple gymnast, an untiring runner, a keen swimmer and an (almost) unbeatable decathlete - they are the 'Five Aces'! Lennart, Michael, Linh, Ilka and Jabali are all close friends as well as being mad about sports. Together the five young sports aces, from five different continents, dive head first into every adventure - and at the same time have a lot of fun in sports.
