Tuso. The True Story Of An African Boy
- This often heart-rending book tells a true story. Tuso, a little boy from Tanzania, is only four years old when he finds himself alone and, through no fault of his own, falls into the life of a street urchin. He is on the road for years that seem like eternity, travelling by bus and on foot, convinced that one day he will be reunited with his family. Hanna Schott doesn't only describe Tuso's extraordinary odyssey, but also examines the everyday lives of ordinary people in today's Africa, looking far beyond the usual clichés.
