Moritz Matthies is the pseudonym of two successful Berlin authors: Hans Rath and Edgar Rai. They have garnered much praise and a large fanbase with their bestselling series about the adventures of the lovable meerkats Ray and Rufus – 'Der Wald ruft' ('The Forest Calls'), also published by dtv, is the first in this series.
