Paula Irmschler

Paula Irmschler, born in Dresden in 1989, studied in Chemnitz, and now lives in Cologne. She wrote for newspapers and magazines like Neues Deutschland, taz, Intro, Missy Magazine and Musikexpress. She has been an editor at the satirical newspaper Titanic and was in the writers' room of Jan Böhmermann’s late night show ZDF Magazin Royale. Her debut 'Superbusen' (‘Super Boobs’) was a bestseller, has been adapted for the stage and is currently turned into a movie. Her highly acclaimed second novel 'It’s Always Down to the Past' was published in 2024.
