Reinhard Michl

Reinhard Michl, born in 1948 in Lower Bavaria, initially completed an apprenticeship as a typesetter and then studied at the University of Applied Sciences for Graphic Design and later at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. He soon began to make a name for himself as an outstanding children’s book illustrator. Some of these books became bestsellers. He has already received several awards for his work, including the German Children’s Literature Prize.
