Your brain check-up at home
The brain is the most important organ – and its health is paramount for our quality of life. However, two in three Germans will suffer from a brain disease like migraine, dementia, tinnitus or multiple sclerosis during their lifetime. But here’s the good news: These diseases can be prevented. And that’s where neurobiologist Dr Albrecht Vorster comes in. His book is a tutorial for recognising the dangers that threaten our brain and keeping it in good health. He explains why movement is more important than solving sudoku, why sleep is so essential and how our social connections protect our brain. A smart, workable plan for those who want to stay fit for longer.
