It’s a perfectly normal day, when suddenly – splat! – an apple lands at Luisa’s feet. Huh? Who’s throwing apples? Outraged, Luisa knocks on her neighbour’s door on the first fl oor. Maybe he knows something about the mysterious apple thrower? Or did he throw the apple himself? But Costas is innocent – in fact, something very similar has happened to him! He joins Luisa and together they head up the stairs to the 2nd floor ...

Ulrike Halvax was born in 1982 in Styria, Austria. Her curiosity and love for drawing took her to the University of Art and Design in Linz and the Vilnius Academy of Arts in Lithuania. She worked as a freelance graphic designer for various magazines and agencies in Vienna and Munich for several years, before her love for nature drew her back to her green roots near Graz, along with her family and their dog, Peanut.
