Towards the Sun
Two strangers. One summer journey. And suddenly, everything has changed …
When Romy and Valentin first meet at an art auction, they appear to have little in common apart from their admiration for an old Italian painting. Yet when Romy emerges onto the street the next morning after a huge fight with her fiancé, she almost runs straight into Valentin’s car – and simply gets in. Valentin has bought the painting for a client and is now supposed to deliver it to Rimini. That’s how a unique and adventurous road trip starts, leading the two of them much further south than planned. And as the air begins to smell of thyme and pine trees, they grow closer. But Romy still has a fiancé waiting for her. And what secret is Valentin hiding?
