The Lighthouse Nurse

Love on the turning tide

1923, Scotland: After years of having been away from home, Eliza returns to Scotland’s windswept Outer Hebrides to work as a nurse. She is supposed to care for the isolated lighthouse keepers and their families and hopes to get close to her sister Màiri again. However, she is put to the test by the harsh living conditions, the locals’ mistrust and memories of the night that changed her life forever. Then she meets Aidan who sought solitude as a lighthouse keeper after experiencing the trauma of war. Between storms, dangerous operations and hours of silence by the sea, Eliza has to learn to let go of guilt and work out whether she has the courage to trust her heart a second time.
