Is there another world besides ours out there? A better world, perhaps, where lost loved ones are waiting for us? 10-year-old Fabian really misses his beloved great aunt. One day, he meets Emma Lovelace, a girl from a parallel world, who has jumped into ours via a portal – and discovers that, over there, his great aunt is still alive and leading the resistance against a band of powerful sorcerers. Immediately, he joins Emma in her mission to bring electricity to her world. Can they harness it to break the sorcerers’ grip on power?

Margit Ruile, born in 1967, is a graduate of the Munich Film Academy, has directed numerous film projects and has been writing children’s and YA books for various publishers since 2010. She lives in Munich with her family.

Kristina Kister is an illustrator and character designer from Essen. After graduating with a degree in Communication Design, she joined an advertising agency before becoming a freelance illustrator. She now illustrates role-playing books and children’s books and develops characters and scenarios for TV shows alongside many other illustration projects.
