Fake Violets
Leon meets Laura’s friends at long last - all of them from good families and upper-class backgrounds. So Leon, who has spent time in a young offender’s institute and whose father is off meditating in some ashram in India, feels about as comfortable in her clique as the proverbial bull in a china shop. When the safe in Laura’s ex-boyfriend’s villa is robbed, Leon finds himself in trouble once more - it goes without saying that everyone thinks he’s the thief. He is left with no choice but to prove his innocence yet again - as well as trying to keep the over-zealous Chief Inspector off his back...
