Guinea pigs can’t fly!
Lu is about to get a baby sister or brother – which means her family moves into a bigger place and she has to leave her apartment and her best friend behind. Lu thinks this is a terrible idea and decides she’s going back home. Fortunately, she’s not alone on this adventure: The neighbours’ guinea pig, Dill, turns out to be a real live guinea pig fairy! It’s not very good at flying (due to poor aerodynamics) and not much better at doing magic, but it’s an expert at boosting courage. And that’s exactly what Lu needs for her adventure.
Dill turns out to be the most surprising hero ever – this chubby little magic fairy will steal your heart!
- Tackling the topics of moving to a new home and new siblings with humour and realism
- Warm-hearted family story for reading aloud or independently
