Judith Allert was born in 1982. She published her first children’s books while she was still studying modern German literature in Bayreuth. Today, she lives in Bavaria with her husband and many animals, where she has plenty of time to invent new stories.
Florentine Prechtel has studied painting and sculpting and has since lived in Rome and Barcelona. The renowned children's book illustrator now lives and works in sunny Freiburg.
