In the Village of Butterflies
The night that changed everything
Jule would actually be fine – if it weren’t for the menopause. Night by night she lies awake, battling with hot flushes, her expectations of herself, and her fear of ageing. After a fierce argument with her husband, she falls asleep, exhausted, and wakes up by a stream. A signpost promises “My best life”, and she decides to follow this path. In a village, she comes across some extraordinary residents who help her find out more about herself. She encounters magnificent butterflies as well as panicfuelled scaredy-cats, and is confronted by her worries, fears and longings. This gives Jule new courage to see many things differently. And now she knows how to approach her new life. The aim of this book is to support anyone who is at a turning point in their lives, and to accompany them on their journey to themselves.
