The Spilsbury House mansion is hiding more than one secret: It’s alive and protecting the magic legacy of its departed builder, the puzzle master John Spilsbury. 13-year-old Jonathan Riddle suspects nothing when his mother sends him to visit his eccentric uncle Aelfric and his cousin Vic. But Jonathan soon learns that the house must defend its most valuable asset, the Mystery Puzzle, against attacks from a nearby village. Once completed, the puzzle will provide a look into the future.
