Locked In
You’re trapped. But your kidnapper is in a coma. And your time is running out.
People are going missing in Heidelberg. Any hope of seeing them alive again is dwindling, day by day. When Inspector Paul Maertens finally tracks down the kidnapper, there is a terrible accident during the arrest. The man falls into a vegetative state, and all appears to be lost for his victims. Maertens has one last chance to save them: the famous neurologist Dr Theo Linde has developed a method to read coma patients’ thoughts. Together they delve into the abductor’s mind to find where he is hiding his victims. But the clock is ticking. Each thought hides yet another thought. And evil is lurking, not only in the mind of the kidnapper.
