Alexander Lunar has what everyone wants – a superpower! He thinks it’s super annoying, since being able to see in the dark only causes insomnia. After the death of his grandfather, Alexander inherits a key, a colt and a severed toe. And it’s not long before he discovers a vault full of strange artifacts, and John Eisenhauer, the iron man. John tells Alexander that his family collects and protects magical artifacts – and that his grandfather was murdered. The unusual duo takes up the investigation, and soon they’re falling into ambushes, embarking on breakneck chases, uncovering a whole lot of secrets – and shedding light on Alexander’s heritage.
