A different kind of postal strike

It all starts with a big stroke of luck. Kalle’s dad, a parcal carrier, has some time off work, and they’re off to Italy together. Since Mum started working as a researcher at the North Pole, they haven’t had a holiday, and now Kalle and Little Frieda can barely contain their excitement! Sun, sea and happy times are ahead. But then their father gets a call from his boss. He’s urgently needed at work, so the holiday is cancelled. When Kalle hears the news, tears begin rolling down his cheeks. Seeing how sad Kalle is, his father quickly steers the postal van onto the motorway, driving the children – and a pile of parcels – all the way to Italy ... Let the adventure begin! Sometimes the only right solution is the craziest one.
