Philippa or Never Wash a Ghost
Children's Books
A ghost does not do well in the washing machine ...
Philippa and her dog Rudolfito need a new place to stay. They find shelter in an old, dusty villa and immdiately make themselves at home. The three former residents, Ferdinand, Margarete-Louise and Sir Egmont, who’d been bored stiff living in the attic as ghosts all alone, are particularly pleased. Finally they've got someone to scare again!
But Philippa isn’t scared at all; instead, she wants to help the ghosts. Sure, a few things go wrong, like when Sir Egmont accidentally ends up in the washing machine – and only comes out half his size ...
- A modern ghost story with an intrepid human heroine
- More fun than scary, with little text and large illustrations
- For readers of Zippel and Mortina
