Debate! That's what makes us human
Surely we're still allowed to say that! Angry citizens here, politically correct discourse referees there, speech bans for old men on the one hand, rowdy conspiracy theorists on the other, regardless of whether they have a migrant background or not, everyone is shouting, everyone is gathering their cheerleaders around them, social media is ablaze with excitement, but no one is listening and even the talk shows seem overwhelmed. Suddenly, everyone is a victim, no one is responsible. The examples are countless, the consequences for our coexistence dangerous. Is this the level at which we want to exchange our positions?
Florian Schroeder, as a cabaret artist, is both attacker and target, sending the hecklers from all camps back to their corners and showing how to argue enthusiastically and productively.

Florian Schroeder, born in 1979, studied German literature and philosophy and began his stage career as a cabaret artist and parodist while at university. He worked as a radio and television host, received numerous awards and has been a guest lecturer at the University of the Free Arts in Berlin since 2021.
