Our Wild Farm – Cows, Content and the Courage to Live Your Dreams
Follow your dream and there will be happiness at the end of the rocky road
Geraldine and Patrick have chosen to live surrounded by nature on a farm with an old-fashioned stove, a cow pasture, a sheepfold and a cottage garden:
“We consciously chose a life of hard work far off the beaten path. Surrounded by timber we cut ourselves, living without heating until renovations were done, running a small farm, and working digital jobs as content creators where the day never truly ends. It’s a life far removed from the city -and yet completely in tune with the times. A life with little luxury, but with the greatest freedom we could imagine. Every day is an adventure for us and for all those who, like us, seek the best of seemingly opposing worlds.
This is the story of how a vision became reality and a host of larger and smaller adventures led to the best life the author and her partner could imagine for themselves and their two children.
- When a vision comes alive: an inspiring memoir
- Tradition and innovation: colourful family life between self-sufficiency and social media
- A joy to read: share the couple’s excitement and dream away
