A group of lovable rogues and a madcap road trip
Henk (15) has moved with his family from Cologne to some kind of Losersville in the back of beyond in the north. There’s absolutely nothing here – no river, no friends … only a cemetery. Here, he meets the old but surprisingly lively Mr. Schmidt, at the grave of his great love Leslie, promising to find an old box. Inside is a list of all the things they wanted to do together, but never got around to – there was always something else to be done, and finally death got in the way. The old man asks Henk if he’d like to help him find the box, and – surprise – Henk says yes! A crazy odyssey across Europe begins – together with an ever-expanding group of amazing travelling companions.
