Athena, goddess of wisdom and bravery, is absolutely fuming. The men always insist on making all the decisions, ruling over everything and bragging about their adventures – just look at grumpy old Zeus or Odysseus, the trickster. She’s had enough! After all, there are just as many clever women in ancient Greece, who have gone on exciting adventures and performed courageous deeds! So Athena has summoned some of the wisest and bravest of them: crafty Aphrodite, fearless Antigone, selfless Baukis, determined Atalante, athletic Kydippe. Now they are the ones who will write history and tell of their heroic deeds ...

Frank Schwieger was born in 1968 and grew up in Holstein, in the northernmost region of Germany. He studied Latin and History, and has been working as a grammar school teacher since 1999.
