Milla is a little gorilla. She is curious, strong and bold. And very cute. She lives in a rooftop apartment with her mom and dad – sometimes it feels as if they were living in a treehouse! Milla experiences something new every day. It’s exciting when Benjamin, the little tiger, moves into the same house. It’s magical when Benjamin and Milla (maaaaybe!) transform their janitor, the endearing hippo Caruso, into a frog. And it’s delicious (and very funny) when she goes to the outdoor swimming pool with her parents, eats swimming pool fries and must help her father – who got stuck in the slide!

Lotte Schweizer had a boring office job for many years. However, because she prefers having adventures, she set off to travel the world. Since her return, she has devoted herself to writing children’s books, creating new adventures at her desk every day.

Anke Verena Klug
Anke Verena Klug studied Interdisciplinary Art and Illustration in Paris, Scotland and the Netherlands. She has since moved to Hamburg, where she’s been working as freelance artist and illustrator.
