Somewhere in Summer
A promise that separates them. A summer that changes their love forever.
Riley loses her older brother, Scott, in a tragic accident. While Riley is still overcome by grief, her parents expect her to take over Scott’s place in the family business. But Riley has dreams of her own and completely different plans. She is convinced that only Scott’s best friend, Caden, can understand her. But he has broken off all contact.
A few months later, she runs into Caden unexpectedly. He wants to take a road trip across the US with friends, a trip which Scott had originally planned. Spontaneously, Riley joins the group, and Caden seems to be anything but thrilled about this. For what Riley doesn’t suspect is that her brother made Caden give him a momentous promise. And with each mile they cover on their trip, it gets harder and harder for Caden to keep it.
