A relaxed summer evening at the Fredenbüll bathing spot comes to an unexpected end for ageing hippy Bounty and his friends, when they discover a sparkling diamond and an urn full of ashes in a seagull’s nest. Village policeman Thies Detlefsen immediately smells a rat and begins investigating.
