Mouse farts and spider droppings – where have everyone’s magical powers gone?
The magimoxical witch hotel is in uproar! The famous vampire band Blood Brothers is coming to the human world to give a concert, and they are staying at the Purple Bat Hotel! They’ve brought a horde of groupies in tow, not to mention reporters of the most important witch TV channels. Shortly before the performance, a huge thunderstorm breaks, and suddenly no one can get out of the hotel. Vampires and witches are stuck together. The only person able to freely enter and leave the hotel is Rosalie’s human friend Klara. Can she break the spell and free the witches and vampires?

Ulrike Rylance was born in 1968 and studied English and German in Leipzig and London. She was an assistant teacher in Wales and Manchester and also taught German in London. In 2001 she moved to Seattle with her husband and her two daughters.
